Crafted with precision for the model railway enthusiast, this Laser Cut NMRA Weight Ruler is an essential tool for easily identifying the NMRA recommended weight for your model trains.

It's specifically tailored for each Scale, providing a reliable guide for builders and hobbyists dedicated to creating detailed and authentic miniature models.

Place this next to a setup track or a test track,

Align left end of car with line on the left side of the Ruler 

NMRA recommended weight aligns with the right end of the car body to the nearest 10th of an Ounce or Gram.

Use a kitchen scale for the base weight, and add weight as needed to match the recommend weight.

Included on this ruler is the recommended weight in Grams and Ounces, Inches, Centimeters, and Scale Foot.

Current Scales Available: N, HOn3, HOn30, HO Short, HO Long, S Short, S Long, Sn2, Sn3, On2, On3, On30

"Short" labeled rulers are up to 60 or 70 scale foot.

"Long" labeled rulers are for modeling more modern train cars 89+ scale ft

This listing is for a 3mm thick ruler with the flangeways,

Rulers without flangeways are also available.

Please allow up to 7 days for processing as I have limited stock on hand and most are made to order.

The Plywood used has a tendency to warp it does not affect the accuracy.

You are welcome to use a Sanding sealer on both sides of the ruler and clamp or weight it flat till dry.

I try my best to package it well so they do not get damaged by USPS, but things happen.
