The Howard Kron Siamese Cat  TV Lamp is a vintage collectible featuring a unique Siamese Cat design from the 1950s/60s.

Back in the 1950s, when TV reception wasn't the best and images were in black and white,  it was common to watch in a dark room. Soon rumors spread of eye strain so TV lamps were invented to sit on the TV and cast just a bit of light so the contrast wouldn’t be so straining. The result is we have these wild and wonderful cat lamps now that are purr-fect for mode lighting or as a night light. 

Pictured with an old tungsten light bulb but can work with any regular light bulb including colored lights. Great to have a changing LED color bulb so the color changes  and the cats eyes glow, green blue or red. 

Condition: no chips or cracks or repairs. The felt on the base is mostly worn and some has been overheated by the lightbulb.
