Carved from a single block of wood. The interior shows original chisel/adze marks and a darkened patina from contact with the wearer's face, confirming its ethnographic use.
Features a vibrant, "spattered" polychrome finish in red, yellow, black, and blue. The paint shows a beautiful aged crackle and natural wear.
Notable notched teeth and small, circular pierced eyeholes for the dancer.
Condition: Excellent vintage/antique condition. Expect authentic wear including paint chips, wood oxidation, and minor surface abrasions consistent with age and ceremonial use.
Display: Currently mounted on a black T-stand (Included) and a wire loop on the forehead for hanging.
