I’m not sure exactly where I got this-it has to be from either Xanadu Gallery or the Tribal  Art Show  at Fort Mason in San Francisco  every February. I think it is from Afghanistan certainly Central Asia, and looks to be needlepoint signed in Cyrillic. It is dated 1980 and is a beautiful example of needlepoint- The piece is extraordinary- it measures 15” x 28”
