The Midnight Reserve is a formal-leaning custom Pressage built around the NH39 open-heart automatic. The dial architecture exposes the balance at 9 o’clock, offering a constant view of the movement’s heartbeat. Integrated into the layout is a 24-hour hand, adding functional time reference while preserving a clean, dress-forward profile.

The gold-tone case and matching clasp establish a warm, traditional presence. Paired with a deep blue leather strap, the contrast is intentional: navy for restraint, gold for visibility. It presents as a composed dress piece in daylight and takes on a richer tone in low-light settings.

The NH39 movement is a proven Seiko-derived automatic with hand-winding and hacking. It is durable, easily serviceable, and suited to long-term daily wear. The open-heart aperture provides mechanical interest without sacrificing reliability or legibility.
