This is a vintage "Sword Swallower" cocktail pick holder made in Japan. He is about 5.25 inches tall with no swords in his mouth. No chips or cracks. Like most mid century novelty ware, the paint is applied sloppily and there is minor crazing in areas.  The picks show patina, spots and color changes from age. You could always use different picks in this if you dont like their patina. Marked :JAPAN" on the bottom.
