After almost five years in the making, award-winning composer Gavin Salkeld presents his second concept album, ALONE IN THE TOWN: MUSIC INSPIRED BY SILENT HILL. Taking inspiration from the eerie, unsettling, yet strangely beautiful music that visionary composer Akira Yamaoka created for numerous SILENT HILL video games released by Konami, Gavin has created a 50-minute presentation of original music based on a fictional SILENT HILL video game narrative.

This is a 25-unit limited edition TruSilver CD-R, issued by the artist, with monochromatic inkjet printed surface text. For this CD release, high-resolution 24-bit masters were carefully downsampled and dithered to 44.1kHz/16-bit PCM using a high quality SSRC resampler, and a master CUE image of the album was created. Each disc is burned from this image at the slowest writing speed, with verification enabled, to ensure a 1:1 bit-perfect digital recording. The CD-R comes housed in a four-panel eco Digipak, featuring exclusive liner notes from the composer.

Distortion in certain tracks is an intentional artistic choice by the composer.
