ODROID M1 8GB streamer / DAC bundle for sale, including an ODROID M1 with 8GB RAM and 32GB eMMC storage, an op amp capacitor upgraded ESS9038Q2M DAC, and an A32 ultra-low-noise 12V linear PSU used to power both the DAC and the ODROID.

The Android TV output allows direct digital playback to the external ESS DAC for high-quality lossless streaming from TIDAL and similar services, bypassing the board’s own analogue audio stage. Using USB Audio Pro you can output bit perfect music steams to your preamp/amp. 

Android 14 provides native support for USB DACs, featuring improved support for high-resolution audio and, specifically, bit-perfect USB audio playback. This allows apps to bypass the standard Android audio mixer to send audio directly to a USB DAC, avoiding resampling and ensuring high-fidelity, lossless sound. It is the ultimate streamer for your HiFi, forget about using your PC/Mac, use your TV and living room HiFi setup. 

The device can also be used to use most apps from Google Play store, also side-load streaming apps, IPTV and has  USB ports for expandability. You could easily setup a network disk or a disk attached to your router with your music collection and use this device to play it and the DAC to render it. 

The DAC has been upgraded with:

• Texas Instruments 2x OPA1612 in the I/V stage for accuracy 
• Sparkos Pro discrete op-amp in the LPF / output stage for a vinyl realistic sound (RRP 120 gbp)
• 2x 2.2uf MKP film Capacitors on the output stage to give a smoother response with fast accurate base to the razor sharp studio precision of the Sabre DAC Chip.

This setup gives a clean, detailed and spacious sound with very good separation, refinement and control. Suitable for desktop audio, streaming, TV optical input, or use with a Hi-Fi amplifier / active speakers.

Important note on PSU
The A32 is a dual-output 12V linear PSU, but the outputs share the same total current capacity rather than being two fully independent rails.
