From Arc Reclamation.
A handsome, reclaimed, Gothic style oak door, SOLD AS SEEN and it is NOT SUITABLE as a front door anymore. The door has a large twist and therefore it is now suited for use as a garden gate, decor item or perhaps a film set prop. The door has a very nice Gothic appearance with four recessed panels, with the top of three panels forming an arch. The door has Gothic style decorative iron studs and there is a small panel, fitted with clear bullseye glass. The glass is UNLIKELY TO MEET CURRENT SAFETY STANDARDS and you must check curent safety regulations before use and you MUST change it if it does not. The front of the door is stripped and the back face has a dark varnish. The door has a Gothic style iron letter plate and there is a pull handle. The door has a lock but there is no key and you will need to remove or replace it.
The door is sold as seen with some signs of age and wear. The door has a bow and WILL NOT BE SUITABLE AS A FRONT DOOR ANYMORE. The door has some shadows and small holes from where a set of doors numbers were removed. The oak has some small knocks and chips and there are some surface splits. The panels have some cracks. The base of the door has some wear and knocks and there is some colour variation to the base of the door on the internal face where a weather strip has been removed. The front face of the door has some colour variation. The iron hardware and hinges have some surface rust. The door height may need slight levelling. Please see pictures for condition details. The door has a very nice Gothic look and it would be ideal for adding character to a garden or for use as an interesting decor item.

Collection is welcomed by appointment. We can also organise delivery to most UK locations. Please message us in advance of purchase to get a delivery quote.
If you wish to arrange your own courier for collection, we would bubble
wrap the item free of charge. There are a few points we would like to
make you aware of in terms of risk.
1) There is a
small amount of risk with transporting any item.
2) This risk
can be minimised by either collecting in person or using a trusted person or
company to move the item for you.
3) We have been
using the same trusted family firm of couriers for many years now and are happy
with their services, additionally you are covered for loss or damage.
4) If you
decide to appoint your own courier, the contract for delivery is between
yourselves and them so if an item is damaged or lost you would go to them for
compensation. We would not be liable for loss or damage in transit.
5) For cast
iron items, no amount of bubble wrap will protect them from smashing if they
were allowed to fall over. Therefore careful handling by the courier is
paramount. I would urge you not to book a parcel carrier, although
cheaper. I would choose a door to door courier who does not use depots to
transfer items.
6) If your delivery address is under 25 miles from us at GU32 3PB
we can quote you for delivery in our own van. Please contact us for a
quote.
Please see our other listings for unusual items. Thanks.
