Our Single Layer 3 x 4 Thread Mesh Heads are a very strong and stable surface incorporating the 3 across and 4 down weave, this gives the feel of a true drum head and not the 'spring / bounce' feel of the standard 1 x 1 thread of the leading brands.

Pic 4 - Shows that both the Roland Silent Stroke and the PowerPly heads are glued Vertically into a 'U' channel - the problem with this is that once you put tension onto the rim via the tuning lugs, the mesh head can separate from the Channel - i had this happen to every one of my PowerPly and Silent Stroke Heads, thats why i went looking for an alternative - i honestly dont know why this product has not been recalled!
