1932 Missouri Pacific Railroad Freight Bill – W.A. Ross Construction Co.
Approximately 5.5" by 8.5" folds
Original 1902 advertising contract form for the Missouri Pacific Railway Official Directory and Atlas, completed in manuscript. Dated August 11, 1902 at Memphis, Tennessee, the agreement was made with Anderson Tully Co., signed by J.W. Morgan. The contract specifies payment of $25 for a half-page advertisement, due upon publication. The reverse side is endorsed to T.R. Woodward, Treas., and bears a bold purple PAID stamp from the First National Bank, Memphis, dated March 27, 1903. A fine example of early 20th-century railroad advertising ephemera, combining commercial and banking history.
