I began to go to Key West regularly in winters beginning in the early 2000’s. While down there, I visited the Key West Book Store. During that time, I attended a number of book signings by authors who promoted their books there.

Tim was one of the authors that I was fortunate to meet a number of times. Thus, I purchased a number of his book for myself and friends. I have many signed and unsigned copies which I will be listing over the next few months. If you have any you are looking for, contact me.

Those of you familiar with Serge and his side kick Coleman are familiar with their crazy adventures they have as well as what you can learn from Serge about some very interesting places in Florida as well as the true to life characters they encounters along the way.

This book is unsigned. I have attached a photo in this listing, I had taken of Tim at one of his later signings.

This is a true first edition on Tim Dorsey’s first book about Serge. It is a paperback copy of a book given out to reviewers and readers before it is officially published to get early reviews and feedback.

The purpose is to build excitement around a book before it is released.


CONDITION :

  2. The book is in new condition and appears to have been unread.
    3. The only blemish which is barely noticeable, is a slight crease on the bottom on the back cover as shown in a photo.

INSURED DAMAGED ITEMS : If an item arrives damaged, please contact me thru eBay Messages. (The Buyer is NOT to ship the item back.) I will need a description of the damage as well as photos. (I will file a claim.)


These are the photos I will need:

  1. The outside of the box which clearly shows the damaged area.
  2. The top of the box with shipping label and any other labels such as "FRAGILE".
  3. A picture of the item set back in the box with packaging around it.
  4. Photos (more than one) of the damaged areas to your purchase.


Steps for me to File a Claim

The Buyer is to throw nothing out. (Save the damaged item, box and all packing materials.)

  1. Provide me with a description of the damage and photos.
  2. I will file a claim submitting the above from #1.
  3. The Shipper may require seeing the item. If so, it must be repackaged using the original box and packaging materials. Arrangements will be made for the Shipper to receive the item.
  4. Once the Shipper examines the item and renders their decision, closure will occur.
  5. Please note, I do not know how long it will take the Shipper to make their decision on this claim.
