Description
The Yellow Jacket 93916 Deluxe MaxFlow Evacuation Kit allows users to accelerate their evacuation process by up to 10 times with the 93904 Vacuum Y with RealTorque Core Removal Tool, two 60-inch PLUS II heavy-duty charging hoses with a 1/2-inch diameter, and two 45° ball valves.
The Yellow Jacket 93904 Vacuum Y with RealTorque Core Removal Tool allows users to save time where the integrated design features the RealTorque Core Removal Tool (CRT) which removes the Schrader core from the system for faster evacuation and the guarantee that the system will remain leak-free. The dual-path design of the two 3/8-inch core-less vacuum ports provides twice the evacuation volume while the 93904 model comes standard with a 1/4-inch main fitting size. The included adapter allows users to switch to a 5/16-inch main fitting size.
With the valve handle, users can easily open and close the connection. The solid brass construction features a steel tip for added durability and the tool itself is for use with all refrigerants, including A1, A2L, and A3 types.
The RealTorque Core Removal Tool features an integrated torque mechanism that clicks as soon as the Schrader valve has been tightened to the manufacturer recommended torque value of three to five in.-lb. This provides assurance that the Schrader valve is properly fit on every job and minimizes the chances of leaks from this area of the system.
A Core Removal Tool (CRT) is essential for effectively removing and replacing HVAC/R system Schrader valves. Removal of the system's Schrader valves significantly improves the speed of evacuation and charging.
With dual 3/8 inch vacuum ports, users can connect two hoses from the Schrader core free connection for a substantially shorter evacuation time. The larger the volume of evacuation path, the quicker evacuation with hoses being the largest volume impact. With 1/2-inch hoses connected to the vacuum Y's 3/8-inch ports, evacuation will be 10 times faster compared to a single 1/4-inch hose (sold separately) connected to the Schrader port.
Once the Schrader core is removed, users can utilize the 1/4-inch (or 5/16-inch via adapter) port to attach a vacuum gauge (sold separately) for monitoring of the micron level at the system. This provides improved accuracy compared to measuring the micron level at the pump.
