Original Junghans MEGA, one of the world’s first radio-controlled (“atomic”) wristwatches. The Junghans MEGA series made history in 1990 by being the first wristwatch able to automatically set itself using the German DCF77 atomic time signal.

This watch is currently running and keeping time. The analogue hands work correctly. The LCD display is present but not showing full characters, so the digital readout is partially faded / incomplete.

Gold-tone case with original Junghans signed buckle and vintage leather strap (strap shows heavy wear). Case shows honest wear consistent with age.

• Radio-controlled / atomic time pioneer
• Running and keeping time
• LCD display partially faded / incomplete display

A great collectible piece of early radio-controlled watch history.
