About this vehicle

There was a paint job done at some point that has flaws and rust is evident in the places you would expect as shown in the pictures of the body. The engine is the original.  No major work has been done on the engine from the information I have seen. The transaxle had new seals in 2010 but it still leaks. Clutch repair in 2023 included a  new flywheel, pressure plate, clutch disk, throwout bearing and heavy duty starter with all new seals and hardware. I had the convertible top replaced in 2023.  The top was installed so that it is hard to latch the front and zip the rear window. Please look at the photo of my list of repairs and upgrades

Vehicle Details

This corvair was a one-owner vehicle until I purchased it in 2022.  It spent time in Michigan, Georgia and Florida where it is now located.   The previous owner did repairs and some upgrades.  I believe the car was stored at times and needed repairs to get it running and driveable.
