We specialize in rare and obscure items with national or global interest beyond our regional market. Since our records are sold to general consumers rather than collectors specifically, we've chosen not to use the Goldmine standard grading scale.
Instead, over the years, we've developed and refined our own simplified, honest, and no-nonsense grading system, which includes detailed descriptions of each record along with close-up photographs. Vinyl condition is listed first, followed by the jacket condition.
We believe our approach helps reduce confusion, especially for newer collectors or those unfamiliar with the Goldmine grading system and its plus/minus designations. However, we still include the Goldmine grade alongside our own as a convenience for collectors who prefer referencing that system. Depending on your browser or mobile app, make sure to view all the photos included with each listing to capture the true quality of the item.
LP - Vinyl Grading

Audiophiles and discerning collectors are encouraged to consider only records listed in our Very Good or Good categories.
CD - DVD Grading
Our CD grading standards are more stringent than those used for LP vinyl. Due to the delicate nature of CDs and DVDs, each item is carefully inspected. Discs with noticeable marks or scuffs are not listed.
All discs are in near-mint or like-new condition, free from visible flaws. Sealed items are presumed to be Mint. In rare cases, a disc may contain a hidden factory defect. If that happens, returns are easy and fully guaranteed. Tray card artwork and other inserts are clearly described and photographed for your review.
If the original jewel case shows signs of age or wear, it is automatically replaced with a brand-new standard jewel case, as shown in the listing photos. Exceptions apply to custom cases with specialty tinting or labeling. In most cases, we also include a new replacement case for your convenience.
After extensive evaluation and research, all records are priced at competitive fair market value based on their condition. For this reason, we do not haggle or consider better offers. These inquiries may go unanswered, as all items are periodically reviewed and repriced as needed. High-demand items are offered via auction.
All records are graded visually according to our own generalized standards. Out of respect for future buyers, we do not play-test records unless specifically requested by a serious potential buyer.
As a retail store, we process most orders within minutes or hours of receipt during regular business hours. With the exception of Sundays and holidays, all shipments are delivered to the main airport post office by 8 PM MST.
Shipping & Packaging
All records are professionally packed. Unless factory-sealed, records are shipped outside of their sleeves and jackets to prevent damage in transit.
U.S. Customers: Shipping Policies
We offer free U.S. Media Mail shipping on orders of three or more items. Estimated standard shipping rates are as follows:
- 1 LP - $5.25 (Standard Media Mail).
- 1 CD - $4.50 (Standard Media Mail).
- 2 Items - Pay the same shipping cost as for one item.
If eBay shows shipping for both items, complete the purchase anyway, we will automatically refund the excess shipping when your order is processed.
- 3+ Items - Free shipping on the entire order.
This is a promotional shipping offer through our eBay store. Add all items to your shopping cart, and free shipping will be applied at checkout. If shipping is charged in error, we will refund the full amount when your order is processed.
Exception: Lot sales are not eligible for free shipping.
