Here is a First Edition/First Printing of The Edge of the Sea by the iconic and pre-eminent ecologist Rachel Carson. Stated First Printing September 1955. Illustrations by Bob Hines.

This copy is in Very Good Condition with a DJ in Good/Good minus condition. The boards are mostly clean and bright, as is printing on spine and drawing on front. Lightly bumped at top and bottom of spine. Spine is straight. No apparent markings in the text. Age related page toning. DJ is not price clipped, but does show edgewear/shelfwear. Please see photos.
