The Lionel Liberty Special LTD #8570 Train Set in O-27 Gauge is a vintage, limited edition starter set that includes a locomotive, caboose, box car, and track. This multicolor set is perfect for transportation-themed collectors or hobbyists. Unfortunately, the set is being sold in fair/ parts repair condition, but with the brand's reputation for quality, it still makes a valuable addition to any model railroad collection.
Set appears to have 7 extra Lionel straight track pieces than what it originally came with.
Fair used vintage condition and for parts/ repair. Transformer is broken and non-usable due to missing the lever and has loose parts on the inside. Therefore, the whole set is untested for any functionality. The locomotive shows heavy signs of age/wear with chipped paint/ finish. Papers inside are ripped or missing. Box is very rough looking with heavy dirt marks, stains, and scuffs. Some minor plastic pieces are broken off or missing. Please refer to all photos.
