This Shearwater Vase measures an impressive 12" H and is believed to be made by Peter Anderson, circa 1939-40s.  The glaze is believed to be the Blue Rain glaze developed by Peter Anderson as shown on page 83 of the Shearwater Pottery book by Dod Stewart.  The vase is in very good condition, no chips, nicks or cracks found.  There is an area that appears that shows wear to the glaze, or could be something on glaze that can possibly be removed - I have not attempted to remove it.
