Dollhouse Furniture Artist Signed School Desk 1976. The signature is possibly Tom Tucker. It has TT's connected to a U with a small c inside. See the close ups. It also has the date of 76 (for 1976) on it. The desk measures approximately 2.5" H x 2.5" x 1.75". The desk is not mint as expected with age of the item, but in good displayable condition. There are minor wear ding marks on the seat back flat area. There are a few minor nicks and scratches on the wood, see the close ups where I am pointing with the scissors. There are also a few minor edge wear paint stain chips on the legs, and around the corners of the item. Two legs have two minor edge chips. Overall, there is minor wear. The hinges work properly. There is no drawer or door for the center opening it was made like this and not a flaw. There is no major damage, such as hairlines, missing or broken parts, repairs, cracks, etc. An old price sticker residue remains on the bottom. There is very minor age-related soil pickup. Overall, a very attractive item to display. This is old dollhouse store stock from my mother’s estate, who had a doll and dollhouse shop in the 1970s-1990s. She carried many artist-made items in her dollhouse store and also collected them. The items are shown in natural light so you can see the detailing. Flaws are shown in the close-up photos.
Unfortunately, I had to change my handling time to 4–5 business days. I still ship quickly. However, with the current condition of the post office and the slowdown of the mail, they are already holding packages for several days without any tracking scan acknowledgements. Please note I stay on top of all tracking numbers, and I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause in this frustrating situation. I just want my customers to know there will be delivery delays.
