This Griffin & George Ltd 6" Rotary Precision Manual Measuring Stage is the remains of a divided-circle spectrometer and is being sold in incomplete, as-found condition. The collimator, telescope, and object table are all missing — only the rotary stage base with its divided circle and vernier scale remains. The cast base and table show typical wear consistent with age and lab use, including light surface marks and general patina on the grey hammertone finish. The vernier scale and degree graduations are clearly legible. A small bracket assembly is present on the side of the table.
