This vintage backgammon set is in good condition and has retained its colour integrity very well and with no rips or tears to vinyl or felt surfaces. The attaché case opens and closes nicely. It features green bands to its lid and green and red 'triange points' to its board. The gold anodised fastening clips have some wear from oxidisation and from use. It is complete with all 30 discs (checkers) in red and white along with its two pairs of original dice in red and white along with its doubling cube. It also has its two original dice shakers in red with a green lining and which are in the same good condition. The vinyl overlay to its hinges has not suffered any damage and in all it presents nicely with no major damage, just those normal scuffs from shelf wear. It comes with its original green paper rule book/pamphlet 'How To Play Backgammon' which has no printer details and is well formatted to allow easy understanding of the rules of the game. There is some creasing and scuffing to that pamphlet. A nice bright vintage example, ready to play.
The case measures around 39cms long x 26cms wide and is 6cms deep.
