EGG HANDLING & FERTILITY
We collect eggs daily, store them with the pointed end down, and keep them unwashed to preserve the natural protective bloom. This ensures freshness and maintains fertility. Our current fertility rate is 93.5%, though individual hatching success depends on incubation conditions.
INCUBATION & HATCHING TIPS
Hatch rates can range from 0% to 100%, as successful incubation depends on proper temperature, humidity, and handling. For best results:
Use a Nurture 360 incubator set at 99.5°F (37.5°C).
Do not add too much water before lockdown, add more at lockdown at day 18.
At lockdown, stop turning the eggs and increase humidity to 65-75%.
Keep the incubator closed until all chicks have hatched.

SHIPPING & EXPECTATIONS
Eggs are fragile, and shipping can affect hatch rates. Even with fertile eggs, hatchability for shipped eggs typically averages around 50% due to handling during transit. Because we cannot control the shipping process or incubation conditions, feedback should be based on how the eggs arrive, not the hatch rate.
