1890s Western Electric walnut wall crank phone with patent dates

Patent dates are stamped into the left side and also the transmitter cup.  There is much to say about this phone.  It's very original; it is all old except for the mouthpiece and receiver hook (cradle).  I can exchange mouthpieces to make it all old, but I need to talk to you first.  It is very possible that some insignificant screws or brads are not real old, but I do not have perfect recollection of these minor details.

It rings when cranked. It does not need refinishing.

The transmitter, top box, and backboard are genuine old Western Electric.  They are not from some other brand name.  The receiver has a very small chunk of bakelite broken out.  The damage is not very visible.  There is a fray in the outer insulation on the receiver cord.  I can ship you parts as is off this phone for you to assemble for less cost.

This phone is considered to be the top of the line of pre-1910 phones, only being surpassed by those with unusual features such as tandems and ornamentation.  If cell phones had not knocked the value and interest out of collectible telephony, the value of this phone may have exceeded $600.00 easily.  If you broke down the value of pieces and parts, then added them up, the total would exceed $700.00.
