This is a handmade bonsai pot by the Japanese ceramic artist Sharaku,
a highly regarded creator known for producing only unique, one-of-a-kind
glazed works.

Sharaku is a Silver Prize winner in the glaze category at the
9th Contemporary Small Bonsai Pot Artists Exhibition.
Each piece is carefully formed using a mold as a base and then
refined by hand carving. Only one type of glaze is used per work,
and the final coloration is controlled through precise flame adjustment
inside the kiln, resulting in rich and expressive variations.

This piece features Sharaku’s signature Keiketsu (chicken blood) glaze,
characterized by deep red tones with natural gradation created by kiln effects.
The Mokko (quatrefoil) shape is one of the artist’s most iconic forms,
offering both high visual appeal and excellent usability for shohin
and mini bonsai.

Artist’s mark “Sharaku” is stamped on the base.

Approximate Size:
- Width: 18.5 cm
- Depth: 14.5 cm
- Height: 5 cm

Please Note:
As this is a handmade ceramic piece, variations in glaze color,
kiln effects, and slight differences in size are natural and should
be appreciated as part of the character of the work.
