Beautiful Antique carved decorative support posts with Acanthus leaves and Faces.  Solid oak.  Dowels on top and bottom are inside blocks that were cut from original piece. these block ends can be removed to expose the dowels for reattaching. 19-1/4" with blocks, 17" height without. Some minor wear and some soiling from storage and handling. There is a third small piece which matches these that is included.
