The watch is not running so will need some maintenance. This is a 70-year-old watch that has never been polished or restored — all wear, patina, small dings, and honest character are shown clearly in the photos. The crystal has typical light scratches from normal wear (easily polished or replaced if desired). The gold cap shows some brassing on the high edges and lugs — common and expected for an unpolished example of this age.
