Bill White (1934–2013) was a four-time All-Star first baseman who played 15 MLB seasons, primarily with the St. Louis Cardinals and Philadelphia Phillies. He won seven Gold Gloves, led the National League in RBIs in 1964, and helped the Cardinals win the 1964 World Series. White later became the first African American president of the National League, serving from 1989 to 1994.
