Particle physics in a prism! These Lichtenberg figures were created via bombarding acrylic with an immense quantity of electrons in a particle accelerator. These electrons accumulate in the material until a critical amount is reached, leading to a sudden discharge of the electrons out of the acrylic, leaving behind channels of their discharge paths.
In addition to your 4" x 4" x 0.75" Lichtenberg figure, you will also receive a 3D printed display stand with an LED strip that plugs in via USB that both protects the item and brings out the beauty of the discharge channels.
