The picture shows 5, but you get 6 Flints and 2 Leather Flint Pads.
These are Musket and Rifle Flints Hand Knapped in the 1700's for the British Army. These are getting rarer and are getting difficult to find. I try to scoop them up when I can find them. This batch is in pretty good shape. I weed out the bad ones. Being hand knapped, the flints are not uniformed in size. For example, if you buy Large Musket Flints, they will be shaped differently. Especially in thickness. However, they will all be of a size to fit a Large Musket Lock. Some flints that you get may need to be sharpened. Included are instructions how to keep your flint sharp. As a firelock shooter, you should know this already. However, I'm never surprised anymore when I go to an event and here the dreaded 'CLICK' over and over again due to dull flints. For some reason, shooters never learn how to keep their flints sharp. A dull flint is the #1 reason for flintlock misfires. Well, that a whole-nuther story.
Anyways, as a gun builder of over 300 guns, I add these flints to all my guns when they go out to their new owners. Also, these are the only flints I personally use. Enjoy your flints and "Watch your Top Knot".
(Due to tariffs, these flints are getting much more difficult to find at a reasonable price.)
I do not accept returns.
