2025 linocut of Parry-Thomas in "Babs",7"x4",signed and dated by Bill Payne ,gallery and museum artist, born in 1951 and living in Worcestershire.I did this several years ago but lost the linoblock but found it in my rather disorganised studio! So edition of 10.Parry.Thomas was a Welsh engineer who with little money constructed "Babs" from The Higham Special car with 21 litre V12 Liberty engine.In1926 he achieved 170mph at Pendine Sands in South Wlaes ,A World land speed record.In 1927 he tried again but the car overturned and Parry-Thomas was tragically killed. The car was buried in the sand near the crash site and  dug up in 1969 and restored by Owen Wyn Owen.It is on display at the Museum at Pendine..It runs and makes a fiercesome sound!! 3 of this edition sold
