This French Carved Wood Court Doll Figurine, labeled "1807 Dame De La Cour" with a brass plaque on the base, is a beautifully crafted piece that stands at 6 1/2 inches tall. Handmade in France during the Mid 20th Century, this original figurine features intricate carvings and a painted multicolor finish. The paint is mostly pink but there are numerous embellishments to the dress. The detailed depiction of a woman from the Courts of Europe captures the essence of French style and elegance. Signed by the artist on the bottom, this figurine is a unique and charming decorative collectible that would make a stunning addition to any room. The carving is almost in its original condition.  There is no damage nor wear to the paint.  There are some minor cracks in the wood that formed by the natural drying of the wood.  These are highlighted in the last two photographs and have little effect on the overall appearance of the figure.
