A red ? Bakelite plastic hinged manicure box from Cutex.

It looks like the plastic hinges are secured with a long metal pin. The inside of the lid  has a diamond texture to it. The base has compartments to fit the contents. Very elegant!

The top of the box had a branded logo with hand and flower with art deco line design on either side. 

Set includes three glass bottles - Oily cuticle remover, Liquid natural polish ( band is still on lid) and Oily polish remover. Some of the contents have evaporated. 

All three appear to have Bakelite lids.

There is also  cotton wool in its compartment and  the back compartment holds two emery boards with cutex wrapper and a Nail white pencil with brass top.

There are two paper inserts as shown in the pictures on Three Simple Steps to Lovely Fingertips and Cutex Nait Beautifier. There is a corner of one stained - see pics.,

A very rare set- found in an estate sale in London , England.
