Thank you for coming!

【Product Description:】

This is an attractive Japanese vintage Jūbako (重箱 - stacked box), traditionally used for serving food during special occasions, particularly New Year's (Osechi Ryōri), or for picnics. The box is skillfully crafted from wood (木製) and features multiple tiers, held together by a sturdy outer frame. The highlight is the beautifully executed carving of a floral pattern (花柄の彫) on the lid, which showcases the fine detail and dedication of the woodworking artisan. This piece is a functional and beautiful example of traditional Japanese lacquerware (or woodware) and makes an elegant display item. This item was actually used, so it does have some damage consistent with its age and use which adds to its authentic charm.
