Roland JUNO-106 Early Model (1984) – 6-Voice Programmable Analog Synthesizer
This is an early 1984 model of the Roland JUNO-106, featuring a detachable AC power cable and the classic 6-voice programmable analog architecture. The JUNO-106 uses DCOs (Digitally Controlled Oscillators), allowing stable tuning while delivering powerful analog tone. Two waveforms can be layered with a sub-oscillator for rich low-end, and the signature stereo chorus provides the iconic thick JUNO sound.
The HPF on the JUNO-106 is unique — “1” is flat, while “0” boosts the low frequencies, making it particularly effective for organ-style patches or any sound requiring additional weight.
Compared to the earlier JUNO series, the patch memory was expanded, and full MIDI ports (IN / OUT / THRU) were included starting with this model.
This individual unit is the early version with a detachable AC power cord.
