I am a fully trained Bicycle Mechanic with a passion for locating good quality vintage bikes.
This Specialized Rockhopper FS is one of two that I picked up locally.
It is a 19” frame and a one owner bicycle that has seen very little or no use at all.
It is completely original and as close to as “new condition” that you are likely to find. It is difficult to do it justice.
The Bikes has been very well stored. Even the tires are in excellent original condition with no signs of age .
There are no obvious marks on the frame , the wheel rims show no sign of braking , all the cables are original , she rides really well.
I have done nothing to her as yet as frankly it would detract from the originality. However, prior to anyone buying I will do a full refresh ensuring she is ready to safely enjoy.
This specific model was manufactured during a period where Specialized linked up with Ritchey , you can see from the specification below that the frame is made from nitanium , which is a Ritchey blended steel product.
It is running a 24 gear 8 x 3 . Brakes are Diacompe , 8 speed Shimano STX RC Running gear with rapid fire shifters.
Rock shox indy C in perfect condition.

The bike can be shipped , it will be carefully protected and shipped in Bike box. However this will require some reassembly.
Alternatively it can be collected in person from the New Forest , near Brockenhurst Station.
