A little bit about me.
In 2005 Ebay changed my life by allowing me to work while my kids napped or at night if they decided to sleep haha. Selling Tupperware, Barbies, Direct Sales items, etc allowed me to be home with the kids and not need help from State services, where I felt I would be enabled and never get on my feet.
I was a single mom of an infant and toddler. 8 years of bartending and waitressing had taken their toll on my back from heavy trays at banquets. My husband, at the time, still a great friend and father, gave me $75 to prove I could start an Ebay business. I'm competitive, so this worked for me. As I purchased items and sold them I re-invested, over and over, until product lined the walls of our little home. Me and the kids had so much fun! Packing, shipping, they loved supervised bubble wrap stampedes.
Eventually I was led to join Tupperware. Who knew it wasn't green and orange anymore! I offered to do a catalog party for the lady, but said NO WAY to joining the 'crazy cult of direct sales'....kinda the way I felt about Church before I realized you don't have to be religious to need religion.... so much to learn still.
Needless to say people wanted Tupperware. I had $500 in orders inside of a week. Then I learned I would get $60 in free stuff! So I sold that $60 in free stuff and learned how popular and reliable Tupperware products are. 1950 they started. Same year my parents were born, must be a sign, lol, just kidding.
And so here I am today! 4,000 offers for Brand New Tupperware products.
More importantly, through this process I have seen the light beyond the dark consumes us in the valleys. Plant your seeds there my friends, because when the fog clears and you realize you are on that mountain from that valley.... faith is only a belief away.
