Maintenance of the bicycle
A few simple ways to judge whether your car is normal:
1. Hub
Shake the rim horizontally, it is better not to loosen.
2. Saddle
It is better to shake up, down, left, and right without any looseness.
3. Braking
When operating the brake lever, it is better that the left and right brake levers move equally; it is better that the brake shoes can be in contact with the rim correctly.
4. Spokes
Spokes should have equal tensile force, no looseness, and no rust.
5. Crankset
It is better to have no lateral and longitudinal deviation when turning the crank.
In order to ensure good transmission performance, the crankset and gears should not have obvious wear and tear.
6. Pedals
It is better not to loosen even if you shake them up and down.
7. Central axis
Shake the crank horizontally without loosening, and it is better if the rotation is smooth.
8. Variable speed inner cable
It is better to choose a straight inner cable without slack and deformation.
A deformed shift cable does not guarantee correct adjustment.
9. Front derailleur
It is better if the chain plate is parallel to the guide plate of the front derailleur, and the distance between the chain plate and the guide plate should be 1-2mm.
10.
It is better to shake the handle left and right without loosening.
11. Air nozzle
It is better if the air nozzle is approximately at right angles to the rim.
12. Headset
It is better to shake the handlebar in the front and rear directions without loosening.
13. Brake handle
It is better not to twist and deform when holding the brake handle lightly.
Maintenance and maintenance instructions:
1. Spray water on the bicycle to wash away the dirt and dust. If the dirt is not serious, just wipe it with a cloth.
2. Please use a brush to clean the small and difficult parts.
3. The chain is the most easily dirty part. Use a waste cloth to wipe it clean, apply lubricating oil, and wipe off the remaining oil.
4. Wipe off moisture with a dry cloth.
5. Apply lubricating oil to every moving part of the parts, which can make them move flexibly and prevent rust.
Parts where oil is injected: gears and chains, the inside of the shift lever and the brake handle, transmission, and pedal shafts.
Be careful not to splash oil droplets on the rim when oiling.
