The HX891 BT/E in elegant black combines a robust, floatable design with innovative technology and impressive versatility.
The large 2.3inch full ~dot matrix display delivers razor ~sharp images that are easy to read even in difficult lighting conditions.

With an intuitive menu system and clear symbols, operation is easy and an optional night mode also ensures optimal readability in the dark. Practical functions such as waypoint navigation with compass view, DSC group position call and a voice scrambler, which uses encryption to ensure secure, private conversations, make the HX891 BT/E an indispensable companion.

A highly sensitive 66 ~channel WAAS GPS receiver enables the HX891 to determine your position quickly and accurately. The Bluetooth function can now be uséd to connect compatible headsets or communicate with various crew members on board.

With a battery capacity of 1800 mAh, it offers an operating time of up to 11 hours and is therefore perfect for demanding maritime applications.

Thanks to the IPX8 standard, the device is waterproof and floatable to a depth of 1 metre for 30 minutes. An automatic, water ~activated emergency flash light provides additional attention. Data can be transferred and software updates installed via the micro USB data socket. Supplied with rechargeable lithium ~ion battery, compartment for alkaline batteries, chargers, PC programming cable and belt clip with strap.
