This Harmony Kingdom box figurine named "Baby Boomer" was carved by Peter Calvesbert in 2016. It was hand painted/finished by local craftsmen in the Cotswold area of England.
Harmony Kingdom description:
"This once abundant creature is now threatened due to habitat loss and over hunting. This bird flirted with extinction in the 1930s but has been happily married to 'clinging on' ever since.
The most striking feature of the male bird is its mating ritual. He inflates orange airsacks in his neck and makes loud booming noises whilst snapping his tail - hence its name."
