This fossil Ankylosaurus scute or osteoderm was found in a Hell Creek Formation channel deposit on a ranch in southeastern Montana near Powderville and taken with the ranch owner’s permission. 

No restoration was performed.  It measures 2 ½” (6.4 cm) x 2” (5 cm) x 5/8” (1.5 cm) thick.
