Stanley No. 2 Type 4 Smooth Bottom Wood Plane

Measures 7 1/2" long x 1 7/8" wide x 4 1/2" tall.

Great condition for its age. The plane body has some japanning loss, spots of rust, and a previous owner has marked their initials into the sides as shown. At some point, someone drilled a hole in the toe for hanging and someone has repaired that hole as shown. The wood handles / totes have some scuffing and damage from age and use. The front tote has a chip taken out of the base as shown and the rear tote has been cracked and repaired at some point. The frog has some japanning loss and rust spots as shown. The iron and lever cap are in good shape with some spots of discoloration. Please refer to photos for complete condition.
