- History: The Wispy Walker line was widely available in discount department stores and through mail-order catalogs in the 1970s.
- He also said the current price would be $80-$145, depending on condition.
- He also thought this doll was in excellent condition. (Nothing better than taking it from an expert. :)
There are several things about this doll that should be noted.
- The date printed on the back of her head is 1967. That's the clue I used for her date.
- RARE!
- The box was originally sealed in plastic. The plastic was in bad shape and had been taped and ripped beyond repair, so I removed it completely. The rubber bands which held her hands and feet were dried up and cracked open.
- The box also has damage.
- The directions for walking that are printed on the back made me giggle a little. I can see how it would work, tho. The newer dolls, even current ones (pretty sure you can still buy these) work the same.
- I can't find any other pictures or info on this doll or any one like her.
- I would appreciate any messages from lookers that know something I don't. :)
