Made in Japan using Oni’s signature Oni-Kasuri slub denim, this fabric is the evolution of the famous “Oni Hannen” textile—known for its irregular, deeply textured surface created by low-tension weaving and uniquely twisted yarns.

The 17oz Kasuri denim offers a bold, uneven texture that fades beautifully with wear, producing high-contrast vertical lines and authentic Japanese character. The yellow × purple selvedge ID adds a distinctive accent that sets it apart from standard selvedge denim.

This model uses a classic regular straight silhouette (288 cut)—easy to wear, slightly roomy, and ideal for daily use. Traditional details include Oni’s original donut buttons, punched copper rivets, and a natural cowhide leather patch that ages with a rich patina.
