Shurtape P-628 Industrial Grade Gaffers Tape is a vinyl-coated cloth tape available in a wide variety of colors. Application used include color coding, seaming, bundling, and protection. Shurtape P 628 (previously referred to as PC-628) is used in A/V, TV, photography and motion picture industries to hold wiring, lighting and props; and to color code. It is also used to mask silk screen frames, as an HVAC line set tape and for protection and book-binding. Benefits of the tape include: waterproof backing; excellent holding power; conformable; durable; excellent weathering features; and very high tensile strength. P 628 would be considered to have shiniest finish of any of the gaffers tapes we sell (it also is a little harder to unwind because of its high adhesion). These rolls come individually shrink-wrapped and are easy to store.

For the converted 10-yard and 15-yard length rolls they are rewound from P-628 source rolls on to 1-inch diameter unprinted white cores. The P 628 lot # the rolls were rewound from and the date will be noted inside the core.
