    Pioneer brings CES-X to your dash

    As we use our phones more and more, plus-sized car displays and the ability to easily integrate your phone with your car's audio system have become more and more desirable. Pioneer's been at the forefront of these trends for years, and now they've upped the ante with the DMH-WT5000NEX multimedia receiver. This receiver is built for the future, incorporating Pioneer's innovative technology designed for today's drivers — CES-X.

    CES-X

    The DMH-WT5000NEX embodies Pioneer's concept of CES-X: Convenience, Entertainment, Safety, and Expandability. With easy-to-use quick-access menus, excellent smartphone integration for entertainent, the safety of a streamlined and customizable user interface, and the ability to expand your system with backup cameras and other add-ons make this one of Pioneer's most advanced receivers yet.

    Big-screen convenience

    The DMH-WT5000NEX combines a standard-size single-DIN chassis with a 9" floating capacitive HD touchscreen display with higher resolution and much greater dynamic range from light to dark than LCD screens, so you'll enjoy better contrast, brightness, and clarity with videos, camera views, and complex screen layouts. The receiver's split-screen mode keeps important controls on the screen for easy access. This receiver features built-in wired and wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ as well as built-in Wi-Fi™ and Bluetooth® for simple smartphone connections. And with the Vozsis app installed on your phone, you'll be able to enjoy the voice-control convenience of Amazon Alexa.

    PxLink gives you more

    Pioneer's new PxLink app allows you to access additional features and enhancements with your phone. The app's dual-screen mode lets you use your phone as a second display or remote for additional convenience and control, and light and dark mode themes with automatic or manual switching make viewing the screen easier. You can also customize the screen's wallpaper with your favorite images to make your car feel more your own. And PxLink gives you access to tips and tricks, firmware update notifications, and over-the-air receiver updates.

    Super powered for super sonics

    Pioneer's engineers wanted the best in audio performance, so they delivered a power supply with twice as much power as a typical head unit. The DMH-WT5000NEX's power supply drives a sophisticated chip set featuring two coprocessors with 16GB LPDDR4 internal memory for lightning-fast response and a dedicated 8-bit, dual-core DSP/DAC system on a chip. With audiophile-grade components, an integrated noise filter, and a high-quality, ultra-low-noise preamp this receiver provides improved sonic performance and better sound processing. You'll get clear, lifelike sound with low noise and distortion and stronger, better, cleaner Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.

    Advanced sound controls

    Pioneer's Advanced Sound Retriever (ASR) restores music data lost to compression to make your low-res audio files sound better than ever, while their Automatic Sound Levelizer automatically adjusts the volume level using the vehicle's speed information. You'll also get a 13-band graphic EQ and a Bass Boost control.

    When you're ready to expand your system, six 4-volt preamp outputs supply connections for multi-channel and subwoofer amps. This receiver is ready for modern car cams, with two rear-panel inputs and built-in parking assist lines that work with any backup camera. And that's all contained in a single-DIN (2" tall) chassis that fits many vehicles.

    Wired and wireless smartphone integration

    With your iPhone® or Android™ smartphone connected, you'll gain a variety of apps that are simple to switch between, whether you're using this radio's touchscreen or voice control. This receiver offers these options:

    Multiple content options

    Got your own music or video library? Load your files onto a USB drive for easy playback through this receiver's USB port, including high-res WAV and FLAC files. If you're looking for radio content that stays with you as you travel, add a SiriusXM tuner (not included) to this Pioneer to enjoy satellite radio's deep programming from coast to coast. The DMH-WT5000NEX also includes a sensitive AM/FM HD Radio™ tuner to catch all your local stations.

    Add a rear-view camera with selectable parking lines

    With two camera inputs, you can also install front- and rear-view cameras and use the receiver's built-in parking guides to back up safely in any crowded lot. The touchscreen lets you adjust parking lines with ease.

    iDatalink Maestro lets you keep your factory extras

    Pioneer offers compatibility you won't find in many other aftermarket radios, thanks to the iDatalink Maestro module (not included). In a wide selection of vehicles, this module lets you keep factory features that you'd otherwise lose when you install a new radio. Once you've identified your vehicle, you'll see the iDatalink module offered on the way to the Shopping Cart if it's compatible.
