This listing is for a vintage mid to late 1940s Rosenthal Selb-Germany Winifred demitasse cup and saucer with fine silver overlay by Spahr.  The silver overlay work is marked 1000 on the cup and the saucer.  The 1000 mark implies that the silver overlay is fine silver (more or less 100%).  The silver overlay work has a sort of pinwheel design.

The cup and saucer together are about 1-7/8 inches tall.  The saucer has a diameter of a little over 4-3/4 inches.

The cup and saucer are both in very good condition overall with no chips or cracks.  There is some light tarnish to the silver overlay.  Please see photos.
