Description
An antique novelty solid silver enamel stamp case in the form of a book, the front with stamps in a deep blue enamel with an engraved design to the silver in each corner, the side with a loop attachment.
The book opens on a pin hinge to reveal a gilt interior with room to sort several stamps, and closes back snugly with no gaps and the hinge working perfectly.
This desirable enamel silver stamp case is made to a very high standard and would make a great present or addition to any collection.
With Clear hallmarks for Birmingham assay office, date letter P for 1914, and by well know maker Crisford & Norris
Condition
In good condition with no dents scratches damage or repair to the silver , the enamel with a couple of tiny loses to the detail, please see photos.
