The Foam Inserts add increased comfort to your plate carrier with minimal weight and bulk.  Non-Ballistic closed cell foam inserts, provide increased shock absorption. Standard MASS Base does not come with closed cell foam padding, MASS Base come with built in mesh style thin padding, this is for those that would like extra padding.
