For sale is a vintage James Swann tang gouge chisel, with a #6 sweep, weighing 1.9 oz, with steel measuring measuring 3/16"  wide X 3-1/4" long, with a #6 sweep, with a nicely turned 5-5/8" wooden handle, with brass ferrule. Signed "James Swan" on one side, it is in very good overall condition, showing normal use and wear, with a good edge, which will respond well to honing and sharpening by a experienced hand.
